The programs at HRH are supported primarily through contributions by local individuals, businesses and service organizations. Special events organized by local schools and civic groups are not only a source of funding and material goods, but also help connect our community with our people in need. School children, youth groups, companies, churches, temples and more all hold drives for material goods such as food, clothing, baby equipment, and toys. Additionally we receive grant money from private foundations and look to the government for support. The members of our community, from elementary school students to senior citizens, have been very generous and warm in their support and in their participation. HRH is the largest and most diverse program of its kind on the East End and it is only because of our extremely generous volunteers and community support that we are able to exist and thrive. |
