| You can help support the vital work of HRH in many different ways. We welcome all who wish to contribute to our mission to assist those in need. As a 501(c)3 charitable organization, HRH depends on community support to operate its many outreach programs. Our supporters include individuals, schools, civic groups, businesses and foundations. Our most ardent and loyal supporters are the children of our community who enthusiastically participate in fund-raising programs such as the annual “Run For Hunger” and in interactive projects such as pumpkin decorating and holiday mitten trees. |

Your donation will have a direct and meaningful impact on a person’s life by providing the basic necessities of food and shelter. No one should go hungry in a caring community such as ours. Organize
a Food or Clothing Drive Many schools, service organizations, businesses, youth groups, houses of worship and other groups offer invaluable support to HRH by holding drives to collect food, clothing, warm coats, toys and more. Around the holiday season the need for these items increases tremendously, and this kind of community-wide effort helps keep our food pantry stocked and our programs operational. For the holiday gift and food basket program, only new toys and new clothing are used. Gently used clothing and toys are distributed year-round through the clothing room. If you or your organization would like to hold a food, toy or clothing drive for HRH, we would be happy to provide any guidance or assistance you may need. |
