The Polar Bear Plunge, December 17th,
10 AM at Cooper’s Beach. It will be a fun way to raise
money and make the holidays more joyful for families and senior
citizens through Human Resources of the Hamptons.

can Participate? Everyone is invited. All ages are
welcome.
Plunging
or not, come out for the fun!
After
the swim: Hot Refreshments will be served at the “Survivors
Party” at the Cooper’s Beach Pavilion.
Plungers
must turn in sponsor sheets and register by 9:30 AM on the
day of the plunge. Obtain an information packet and sponsor
sign-up sheet by calling 283-6415 or go to the HRH web site
at www.hrhamptons.org
All proceeds will benefit Human Resources of the Hamptons
Programs including the Holiday Outreach serving the needy
in our community.
What
is a Polar Plunge Team?
A
Polar Bear Plunge team is a group of individuals who raise
funds together. Teams may choose to take the plunge together
or they may select a team member to act as captain (the captain
will go in the water)
Each
Polar Bear will receive a memento of the event on the day
of the swim. In addition to the trophies for 1st place, there
are other prizes and forms of recognition that will be awarded
at the “survivor’s celebration” following
the swim.
Although
not required, all spectators are encouraged to bring a new
toy that HRH will distribute to a needy child during the Holiday
Season.
