How
You Can Help...
|
You
can help support the vital work of HRH in many different ways. We welcome
all who wish to contribute to our mission to assist those in need. As
a 501(c)3 charitable organization, Heart of the Hamptons depends on
community support to operate its many outreach programs.
Our supporters include individuals, schools, civic groups, businesses
and foundations. Our most ardent and loyal supporters are the children
of our community who enthusiastically participate in fund-raising programs
such as the annual
“Run
For Hunger” and in interactive projects such as
pumpkin decorating and holiday mitten trees.
Monetary
Donations
HRH
is
able to make a difference in the lives of the people in our community
because of your generosity. Your donation will have a direct and meaningful
impact on a person’s life by providing the basic necessities of food
and shelter. No one should go hungry in a caring community such as ours.
Please help us create a brighter future for all our children and their
families.

Organize
a Food or Clothing Drive
Many
schools, service organizations, businesses, youth groups, houses of
worship and other groups offer invaluable support to HRH by holding
drives to collect food, clothing, warm coats, toys and more.
Around the holiday season the need for these items increases
tremendously, and this kind of community-wide effort helps keep our
food pantry stocked and our programs operational. For the holiday gift
and food basket program, only new toys and new clothing are used. Gently
used clothing and toys are distributed year-round through the clothing
room.
If
you or your organization would like to hold a food, toy or clothing
drive for HRH, we would be happy to provide any guidance or assistance
you may need.

Volunteer
your time
Our
volunteers range in age from elementary school children to senior
citizens. Join us and help plan a fund-raising event, work at
the food pantry, sort food and wrap gifts for the holiday gift
baskets, participate in a clothing drive and more! Participating
is the best way to experience the spirit of HRH. Whatever your
talents or interests, there is a place for you at HRH. With
your help, we can and will bring a smile to each and every child’s
face.
THANK
YOU!
